Mette il suo primo piede su una tavola nel 1998 presso la scuola di windsurf N.S.T. di Bordighera gestita allora da Paolo Ghione ; inizia subito a gareggiare nella classe Aloha entrando nella squadra nazionale nel 2003, ma mancava ancora qualcosa, gli serviva più adrenalina! Nel 2006 lascia il mondo agonistico per dedicarsi al settore più estremo : il Wave ! Cresciuto tra vento on-shore e shore break , Fede inizia a cavalcare onde estere nel 2008 con una trasferta estiva a Pozo rampa di lancio per la sua “carriera” windsurfistica, negli anni successivi riesce ad allenarsi tra le onde Sud Africane e Canarie acquisendo un buon livello che gli permette di iniziare a gareggiare per il titolo italiano ed essere convocato nei best 16 atleti europei all’evento wave più grosso del mediterraneo!

Poco dopo nell’estate 2011, durante un training a Tenerife,Fede riesce a passare le selezioni ed entra  nel PWA ( Professional Windsurfer Association) iniziando a farsi le ossa nel tour della Coppa del Mondo !!

He drops his foot on a board for the very first time in 1998 at the N.S.T: windsurfing school managed by Paolo Ghione; it starts by competing in the Aloha class entering the national team in 2003. Yet something was missing , he needed more adrenaline . In 2006 leave the competiton world to blast into the most extreme of this sport : Wave riding.

Born among on-shore wind and shore break , Fede starts riding foreigner waves in 2008 at Pozo Izquierdo, Gran Canaria, the ideal ramp for his windsurfing career . In the forthcoming years he trains among the South African and Canarias waves improving his windsurfing proficiency . He starts competing for the Italian title and called in for the biggest Mediterranean wave contest  among 16 others invited riders.

Very soon after, Fede during a training in Tenerife, El Medano, passes the PWA selections and start to build up his muscles on the World Cup Tour.
